Matt Miller Wins Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series and Southern All-Stars Sanctioned Events in 2007, Looking Forward to 2008

WATERVILLE, OH (December 3, 2007)- Matt Miller had an up and down 2007 racing season but was able to pick up two big wins both with new car owners for Matt in 2007. Matt drove primarily for Larry Moring and the Moring Motorsports team based in IL for most of 2007 with some success. Matt the Larry Moring Motorsports Racing Team picked up a big win in August at the prestigious Jackson 100 at Brownstown Speedway in Brownstown, IN. The 100-lap $15,000 to win event was sanctioned by the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series. Matt led all 100 laps in route to his 4th career win on the national traveling touring series.

Matt also piloted a car on several occasions for Jacksonville Florida resident Murrell Mixon and the M&M Racing Team based out of Florida. Matt would drive the M&M Racing Team car at Golden Isles Speedway in Brunswick, GA in late October in an O'Reilly's Southern All-Stars sanctioned event. The 60-lap feature would pay $10,000 to the winner. Matt would start the feature event in the 4th position but fell back as far as 6th place before charging to the front passing Billy Moyer, Randall Chupp, Chris Madden and Earl Pearson Jr. to take the lead and drive away from the field to win his first ever Southern All-Stars sanctioned event in his career.

"2007 was not the greatest year for me but we had several good runs and some wins in a few big events that made our year decent. It was the first year for me and Larry Moring teaming up and working through the new team struggles and getting good help during the year. Larry is a great car owner to drive for and I really appreciate the opportunity to drive his cars. I also drove for Murrell Mixon out of Florida a couple of times and we were able to get a Southern All-Stars sanctioned feature event win together at Golden Isles Speedway. Murrell is also really great to drive for and be associated with", stated Matt.

Matt's plans for the 2008 season include racing at the "Super Bowl of Racing at Golden Isles Speedway in GA before heading to East Bay Raceway in Tampa Florida to begin the year with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series. Matt hopes to compete on the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series full time in 2008. "Right now I'm looking to find a part time ride for some races on the Lucas Oil Series that are in the south. I'll drive for Larry Moring Motorsports for most of the year but he has several businesses he has to run that will not allow him to run a full series together. So I'm looking for another ride that will enhance my program with Larry Moring and provide me an opportunity to run the full schedule on the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series", stated Matt Miller.
