WATERVILLE, OH (May 15, 2007)- Matt Miller and the Larry Moring Motorsports Team competed in the 1st annual Diamond Nationals at the Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, MO over the weekend. The $25,000 to win event was sanctioned by the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series. Matt would finish 6th in his qualifying heat race and would be regulated to try and make the feature through the B-main. Matt would be leading the B-Main but suffered a broken wheel and flat tire that ended his bid to transfer from the B-Main. Matt would get a Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series provisional starting spot in the feature and rolled off 23rd for the 100-lap main event. Matt would advance as high as 15th and finished in the 15th position at the checkers.

"We were off a little all weekend. We'll change a few things and get back after it next weekend at Farley and LaSalle and hopefully get to wining a few of these series events. The competition is really tough on the series right now and you have to be really on your game to win one of these series events. But we'll get there soon, hopefully this weekend", stated Matt. Larry Moring Motorsports and Matt will travel to Farley Speedway in Farley IA for a $10,000 to win Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series sanctioned event on Friday May 18th. Then on Saturday May 19th Matt will compete at LaSalle Speedway in LaSalle, IL in another $10,000 to win Lucas Oil Series sanctioned event.
