WATERVILLE, OH (June 5, 2008)- Matt Miller and the DSI Race Team competed in a pair of Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series sanctioned events this past weekend competing at Hilltop Speedway in Ohio on Friday night and Florence Speedway in Kentucky on Saturday night. On Friday night Matt would set fast time in qualifying and win his heat race and start 2nd in the feature. Matt would fall into second place at the start but would pass Scott James for lead on lap 14. Matt would lead until lap 23 when James would retake the lead away from Matt. Matt would pressure James over the remaining laps but would settle for a solid second place finish. On Saturday Matt and the team would compete in another Lucas Oil sanctioned event at Florence Speedway in Kentucky. Matt would finish third in his heat race and start 15th in the feature. Matt would suffer bad luck getting caught in a wreck and finish 19th in the final run down.

"We had a really good car all weekend. Friday night we should have won but I let James get by me in lapped traffic. Still to finish second was a good run for us and our car owner Stephen McCullough. I'm looking forward to Eldora this weekend. We've ran really well there this year so hopefully we can repeat our win their in 2005", stated Matt.

Matt and the Larry Moring Motorsports team will travel to Eldora Speedway in Rossburg Ohio this weekend and compete in the "Dream 100" paying $100,000 to the winner. Friday June 6th will be hot laps and qualifying and Saturday June 7th will be heat races, B-mains and the 100-lap $100,000 to win feature event.
